Michelle has over 20 years experience in the FHA industry and has personally been involved in underwriting over $575 Million in closed transactions. Ms. Volpe has extensive experience in underwriting market rate and affordable multifamily properties along with LEAN transactions.
She has also underwritten Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in her underwriting career. Prior to joining Churchill Stateside Group, Ms. Volpe was employed as an FHA Chief Underwriter for HUD Approved Lenders.
Ms. Volpe graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance.
Mr. Santos began his banking career at Hibernia National Bank in 1989 in Credit Analysis where he received formal credit training. As a commercial lender he specialized in Mortgage Warehouse and Commercial Real Estate. During 2000, Mr. Santos became the bank’s chief originator for a partnership between Hibernia National Bank and Standard Mortgage of New Orleans focusing on the origination of multifamily loans to be placed in the permanent market through FNMA and conduits.
Since 2001, Mr. Santos has concentrated on multifamily loan requests processed through the HUD MAP Program with responsibilities including origination, underwriting, and issuance of GNMA securities. His experience in multifamily lending include: Historic Tax Credits, LIHTC, affordable, market rate, and healthcare properties.
Mr. Santos received his B.S in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University and an M.B.A from Loyola University.
Prior to joining CSG, Lana worked as a Loan Processor and Audit Specialist, for Citibank. There she was responsible for processing conventional mortgage refinance and purchase transactions for a period of six years. She has assisted in over 1,000 successful loan closings of both refinancing and purchasing applications by working as an advocate and main point of contact. Later, Lana moved to a special projects team where her accountability included; auditing files of loan processors for quality assurance, along with monitoring regulations in accordance with company, lender, and federal guidelines.
Mrs. Demchak has a bachelor’s degree in English and history from Eastern Michigan University. She is also in the final stages of completing a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in community economic development from the University of Southern New Hampshire.
Ms. deGoma began her career at Fannie Mae in 2002 where she worked in the Communications Department and Foreclosed REO division. Since then, she concentrated her career in FHA underwriting of multifamily market rate and affordable projects. Prior to joining Churchill Mortgage, Ms. deGoma held various positions in FHA underwriting at commercial real estate finance companies including PNC Bank and CB Richard Ellis.
Lois brings to the team more than 20 years of commercial real estate finance and banking experience and has previously held positions in Credit, Underwriting and Commercial Banking. After roles in commercial banking, she joined the Midland Companies where she held various positions in underwriting and loan delivery management. As Vice President at Midland, she was instrumental in the implementation of the loan delivery processes to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other secondary market sources. Throughout her career, Lois has been responsible for the successful packaging and delivery of loans totaling $2.3 billion.
Lois has extensive experience as a liaison between lenders, borrowers, legal counsels, title agents, and various parties to ensure the successful funding for many types of transactions.
Prior to joining Churchill Stateside Group, Ms. Parks was employed for 25 years by MMA Financial in various positions within the loan servicing, asset management and underwriting departments, with the last 18 years focused on underwriting and closing multifamily affordable debt transactions.
Ms. Parks graduated Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
